ABOUT YVETTE

Your partner in the book completion process.

I help aspiring authors finally write and finish the book that has been quietly waiting inside them.

WHY A PARTNER

A guide for the unfinished manuscript.

I’ve been writing since I could hold a pencil, from blogs and children’s books to magazine articles and contemporary romance novels. Beyond the pages, I’ve spent decades in leadership roles across industries like hospitality, university administration (yes, including a Space Shuttle mission!), and finance.
Why does that matter? Because I understand how to balance big dreams with busy lives. My coaching is practical, encouraging, and rooted in the belief that every story matters, especially yours.

My approach

For more than a decade I've worked with aspiring authors — executives, educators, entrepreneurs, caregivers, creatives — who carry a book inside them and never seem to reach the last page. What I've learned: the obstacle is almost never lack of talent. It's procrastination dressed as perfectionism, self-doubt disguised as "research," and the quiet belief that someone else's story is more important than yours.

My coaching combines mindset work with a proven completion framework. We identify what's actually stopping you, build a sustainable writing rhythm around your real life, and create the kind of partnership that makes finishing inevitable.

Your story matters. Let's make sure the world gets to read it.
I work with people who always wanted to write a book but never thought they could, people who started and stopped because of fear or imposter syndrome, and people who aren't sure how to start or finish. Whether you've never written a page or you've been writing on and off your whole life, you're the writer I help.

I don't motivate through fear. Together we find what's been getting in your way, then work around it by building on your strengths. I don't write your book for you. I help you understand the blocks that have kept you from writing your own, with feedback that is constructive and keeps you moving.

Many of my writers finish sooner than they expected, and many tell me they enjoyed the process as much as the finished book.

What I believe.

— Every finished book begins with a finished mindset.

— Accountability is not pressure. It is partnership with a deadline.

— Your story is worth the chair it asks you to sit in.
