WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY? DO YOU PROVIDE PAYMENT PLANS? For my 1:1 Writer’s Coaching services, you can choose to pay in full ($3500) or do a monthly payment plan of $1250/month for 3 months. All other services are payable in full before work commences.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY? Because of the in-depth nature of our work and the time spent on the coaching process, I do not offer refunds once we have had our first scheduled call.
WHAT IS YOUR CALL CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY? If you need to cancel a call, please do so 24 hours in advance. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, I make no guarantees of being able to book a new time. If you need to reschedule a call, please do so 24 hours in advance. The call must be rescheduled to a new time within 7 days of the original appointment time, otherwise, you will be unable to reschedule.
WHAT IS YOUR CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY? Your confidentiality is incredibly important to me, as I know how precious ideas and manuscripts are to writers! My contract states that I “will not disclose, divulge, reveal, report or use, for any purpose, any Confidential Information which I have obtained, except as authorized by the Client..”
WHAT EXACTLY ARE THE DELIVERABLES YOU PROVIDE IN YOUR 1:1 WRITER'S COACHING? (12) weekly or biweekly scheduled 1:1 calls Assistance choosing your book topic and aligning your expertise with market needs Assistance crafting unique and engaging subject matter Assistance developing a compelling title and subtitle that communicate the book’s main ideas and benefits A detailed manuscript outline (chapters, subheadings, and bullet points of topics for easier writing) Assistance creating your writing schedule Email check-ins/Q&As every week Tailored writing advice for your story Strategies to streamline your process and maintain focus
WHAT GUARANTEES CAN YOU MAKE? I guarantee I will provide the deliverables listed above and coach you through your writing process. Remember, this is your book and I’m in your corner. If we are working together, that means I believe in you and your story. You must also believe in yourself. Publishing is an unpredictable process, and while I provide the best support I can, you will face obstacles that you must tackle yourself. So do I make any guarantees of becoming the next big thing? No. But that doesn’t mean your writer dreams can’t come true.
DO YOU THINK MY BOOK WILL BE A BESTSELLER? I am not a snake oil saleswoman. A guarantee of bestseller status without statistical proof backing it up is a red flag. Becoming a bestseller requires consistency, persistence, knowing your market, a healthy dash of luck, and persistence AGAIN. What is hot in the market today may not be the trend next year, and vice versa. The writers who have found the most success are those willing to passionately and unapologetically believe in and pursue their publishing dreams.
